Pho3nix Foundation extends Aussie Kids Triathlon partnership to 2027

Mana Group are proud to announce the renewal of the partnership between the Pho3nix Foundation and Gold Coast-based events organiser The Event Crew for 2025 to 2027.

With the shared vision of providing safe and fun avenues for sport and activity to kids, The Event Crew, the Pho3nix Foundation, and Mana Group have worked together to deliver Pho3nix Kids Triathlon events in Australia across the Pho3nix Queensland Triathlon Series and Pho3nix Gold Coast Triathlon, supporting Pho3nix’s mission to break down barriers to participation and inspire and empower children through sport. Since 2021 these events have seen nearly 8,000 children cross the finish line and have raised nearly $7,600 AUD in voluntary contributions to support the Pho3nix Foundation’s work.

The Event Crew have operated since 2012 specialising in sports event management, owning, organising and professionally executing over 16 events annually including multisport and running festivals. The family-friendly Pho3nix Queensland Triathlon Series and Pho3nix Gold Coast Triathlon are hugely popular highlights on Queensland’s sport calendar.

This agreement will also see the further extension of the Pho3nix Foundation as the naming rights partner of the Pho3nix Queensland Triathlon Series and the Pho3nix Gold Coast Triathlon.

The Event Crew General Manager Brendon Downey says, “We deeply appreciate our ongoing partnership with the Pho3nix Foundation, which enables us to provide a fun, high-quality experience for both new and returning participants across these eight events over the past three seasons and the upcoming two seasons.”

“As we start to head towards the 2032 Olympic Games, we are especially excited to continue delivering the FREE Pho3nix Kids event at the Pho3nix Gold Coast Triathlon along with the AusTri National Age Group Championships through to 2027. This partnership is a critical element in making that happen.”

Mana Group executive chairman and Pho3nix Foundation board member Chris McCormack states, “At Mana and Pho3nix, we are dedicated to creating global impact by inspiring children to lead active lives and experience the many benefits of sports. The Event Crew share these values, are passionate about delivering quality events, and are significant movers in sport development and success here in Australia. We are more than happy with what we have accomplished together so far, and look forward to the continued partnership that helps make sport accessible to all.”
